How To Participate
Open Mic Nights Mondays
Step 1: Go to Events Page on day of Open Mic at 11AM
Step 2: Find the “Open Mic Performers Sign Up Event”
Step 3: Add it to your cart. Only 18 slots are available and they go fast.
Sunday Writers Nights:
By Audition Only. Check the events calendar for audition times. You must live within 100 miles of Nashville and/or be an active member of NSAI.
Sunday Spotlights:
Bluebird picks from their list of songwriters to come perform for the events. *Must be an established songwriter with Bluebird Cafe*
Tues – Sat —— 6PM Early Shows
You must pass the audition process, have played at least four Sunday nights and have high scores from their judges to be selected to play.
Tues – Sat —— 9PM Late Shows

About
The Bluebird Cafe opened in January of 1982. Throughout the years they have been a premier venue featuring the top singers and songwriters of Nashville. They were in the spotlight when the show “Nashville” featured them in many of their episodes. Today you can catch the top songwriters of the area at one of their events. The Bluebird Cafe is currently owned and operated by the Nashville Songwriters Association. The Bluebird also hosts a songwriter round at 3rd and Lindsey.
